Steve Shaffer

With over 20 years at WRA, Steve serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.

A registered architect with four additional years of experience at other firms, he has worked extensively with Texas school district clients. His architectural expertise includes design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Known for his organization, attention to detail, and strong communication, Steve effectively manages both administrative and design teams. His responsibilities include staffing, legal and financial oversight, invoicing, and ensuring project goals align with clients’ visions. He also coordinates with consultants and communicates with contractors. Promoted to associate in 2006, Steve became a partner in 2014.
