Developed with extensive community input, the new Judge Louis A. Bedford, Jr. Law Academy replaces the former W.H. Atwell Middle School, which opened in 1964. Serving 850 students in grades 6-8, the facility features a fully functioning courtroom, an elevated library and media center, a 900-seat competition gym and storm shelter, a 450-seat auditorium, and light-filled learning spaces throughout.
