Linda L. Griffin Elementary School
Garland, TX
Fall 2027
Linda L. Griffin Elementary School consolidates the former Heather Glen and Montclair Elementary campuses into a new 107,000 SF facility serving learners from Pre-K through fifth grade, with a capacity to accommodate up to 850 students.
The building’s angled placement organizes the site around a central plaza, creating a safe and welcoming outdoor space for daily arrival and social gatherings. The three-story school is designed to support both structured and collaborative learning, featuring outdoor learning environments, flexible collaboration zones, and a double-height library that anchors the academic core. Designed as an academic and community focal point, the library extends beyond the school day to serve as a gathering space for the surrounding Garland ISD community.
