Mesquite ISD Natatorium
Mesquite, Texas
Spring 2024
In a partnership between Mesquite ISD and the City of Mesquite, the new natatorium serves both MISD students and residents and involved a complete reconstruction of the former aquatic center at Dallas College Eastfield Campus. Key upgrades include widening the pool, adding two diving boards, eight 25-yard swim lanes, six 25-meter swim lanes, new tile, an updated pool finish, and a competition-ready Myrtha gutter system. Due to the unique moving glass panels, the pool can be enclosed during cold or wet weather while providing the flexibility to open the walls and roof on pleasant days.
